This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Predominately snow showers are expected through Saturday morning.
Mountain ranges are forecasted to receive 6 to 12 inches of snow
accumulation. In valleys, rain showers and mixed precipitation are
possible during the afternoon, transitioning back to snow overnight.
Travel will be difficult throughout the duration of the storm,
especially through mountain passes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
