...HIGH WINDS IN/NEAR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS INTO TONIGHT...
...HIGH FIRE DANGER/AREAS OF BLOWING DUST OVER PORTIONS OF LINCOLN
COUNTY TODAY AND TUESDAY...
...SNOW, BLOWING SNOW, AND SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS NORTHERN
COLORADO MOUNTAIN PASSES...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread windy conditions will produce wind gusts up to 50-60 mph
across the plains and valleys today. Additionally, winds will
produce wind gusts up to 75 mph for parts of the mountains and
foothills. Snow continues for areas north of I-70 above 9 thousand
feet; if traveling along mountain passes, prepare for low
visibilities due to blowing snow.

The dry and windy conditions will create critical fire weather
conditions and areas of blowing dust for southern Lincoln County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Snow and blowing snow will occur across the mountains through
Tuesday, and then gradually diminish Tuesday evening. Slick road
conditions will be possible especially over the higher mountain
passes during the night-time and early morning hours.

It will be windy across the entire area as well on Tuesday. The
dry and windy conditions will lead to critical fire conditions
across southern Lincoln County Tuesday afternoon and evening.

More tranquil weather can be expected Wednesday through next
weekend, with only scattered showers possible and much less wind.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
