Heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible, especially for the orographically enhanced San Juan Mountains into the Upper Rio Grande valley, where a Flash Flood watch is in effect this afternoon through Thursday. Flash flooding will also be possible if storms move across the recent burn areas of the Willow and Aspen Acres burn scars. Stronger storms will also be capable of producing occasional cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds up to 45 mph and small hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Periods of showers and thunderstorms continue across the higher terrain on Thursday, with locally heavy rain keeping the threat of flash flooding in place, especially across the San Juan Mountains. Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain expected over the weekend, with the focus for storms shifting to the eastern mountains and plains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
