Precautions should be taken to remain hydrated, and physical outdoor activities should be limited. High fire danger will spread across the mountains into the Interstate 25 corridor this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph and humidity values well under 15 percent are forecast. Any fires that start have the potential spread rapidly. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday High fire danger is expected Thursday afternoon over the Central Mountains and Upper Arkansas Valley due to gusty winds and low humidity values. Widespread high fire danger is then expected on Saturday across most of the southern Colorado as strong winds and very low humidity values return. More spotty critical fire weather conditions are possible for the Central Mountains from Sunday into Tuesday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms Friday and Saturday will become more numerous from Sunday into Tuesday, mainly over the eastern mountains and plains. Periods of heavier rainfall and a couple of strong to possibly severe storms could occur across the Plains .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
