Occasional lightning and briefly gusty winds to 40 mph will be the main storm threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Showers will increase in coverage Wednesday afternoon. Snow is expected along the mountains, with rain showers and thunderstorms expected elsewhere. A few thunderstorms may be strong to severe, particularly across the eastern plains. The main threats with any stronger thunderstorms that develop tomorrow will be strong winds, with gusts to around 60 mph, hail up to 1 inch in diameter, and excessive rainfall with localized flash flooding possible. Unsettled weather continues into Thursday. More showers and thunderstorms are expected for the region, especially across the southeast mountains.
