Strong gusty winds and low humidity values will cause favorable conditions for extreme fire behavior if a fire were to start. Please do not burn today. Strong winds will occur across the region today, with the strongest winds of 40 to 70 mph possible. The strongest winds will occur this morning along the mountains plains interface and over the southern I-25 corridor region. Snow will be possible over the central mountains this morning. Accumulations of 3 to 6 inches will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Strong winds will continue across the region Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of these winds will reach up to 60 mph at times. Critical fire weather conditions will also be possible across a good part of the region.
