A few of these storms may be strong to severe, producing winds gusts to 60 mph, frequent cloud to ground lightning and small hail. Additionally, with drought conditions over the region, any cloud to ground lightning will have the potential to start fires. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday Critical fire weather conditions are expected Sunday and Monday, with strong southwest winds gusting to 45 to 55 mph and relative humidity values below 10 percent both days. On Tuesday, a strong pacific weather system will move across Colorado, bringing windy and cooler weather to the area. Critical fire weather conditions will be possible across the southeast plains during the late morning and early afternoon, before a cold front brings cooler and more moist air into the region by late in the day. Over the mountains, mainly along the Continental Divide, snow will be possible, with some moderate accumulations expected, especially over the eastern San Juans. Drier weather will return late Wednesday through Friday, and critical fire weather conditions will be possible across the region, especially on Thursday and Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
