The main areas of concern across Lake and Chaffee counties will be the valley floor. West to northwest winds are forecast to increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph, along with minimum relative humidity levels dropping into the 10 to 15 percent range. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday High fire danger is probable for much of the area starting late Thursday morning and lasting into Thursday evening, as winds gusts as high as 40 mph and relative humidity levels drop into the single digits.
