southern Connecticut and southeast New York.

Thunderstorm development is expected this afternoon and evening with
a cold frontal passage. A severe thunderstorm is possible, with
damaging winds the main threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time that would meet NWS
warning criteria.
