A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms producing locally
heavy rain will track from central Delaware into extreme southern
New Jersey through around 3 am. Up to an inch of rain has already
fallen, and additional rain will result in localized flooding.

details.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  North central Sussex County in southern Delaware...
  Southern Kent County in central Delaware...

* Until 515 AM EDT.

* At 111 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  minor flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in
  minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has
  already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Milford, Harrington, Bowers, Viola, Big Stone Beach, Felton,
  Frederica, Houston and Riverview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
