THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
Weather and ocean conditions will lead to a moderate threat for
dangerous rip currents at the central Florida Atlantic beaches
today. The threat will be highest between 1130 AM and 530 PM due
to tidal effects. In addition, there will be a northward flowing
longshore current today.

To escape the seaward pull of a rip current today, you will want
to swim toward the north, parallel to shore, then swim at an angle
back toward shore. Never try to swim directly against either a
rip current or a longshore current. Also, swim only within sight
of a lifeguard, and never swim alone.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Southeast winds of 15 to 20 knots will produce seas of 4 to 5 feet
near shore and 6 to 7 feet well offshore. A Small Craft Advisory
remains in effect beyond 20 nautical miles, while small craft
operators should exercise caution within 20 nautical miles.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
Hazardous weather is not expected across east central Florida.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today.
