...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet expected to develop in
  the surf zone.

* WHERE...Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Saint Lucie and Martin
  counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Sunday night to 7 PM EST Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High surf will affect the beaches in the advisory area, producing
localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions.
Swimmers should remain out of the water due to large breaking
waves and dangerous surf conditions.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.
  The strongest winds will occur along the immediate coast, such as
  the barrier islands.

* WHERE...Coastal Indian River, Coastal Martin, Coastal Saint Lucie,
  Coastal Volusia, Mainland Northern Brevard, Mainland Southern
  Brevard, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands, and Southern Brevard
  Barrier Islands.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...These strong winds will occur mostly during
  the nighttime hours Sunday night into early Monday before
  gradually decreasing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
