THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated storms will continue to be possible mainly from Indian
River and Okeechobee counties southward. A strong storm or two
may still develop this afternoon, mainly across St. Lucie and
Martin counties before this activity shifts offshore. Main storm
threats will be frequent lightning strikes, strong wind gusts to
40 to 50 mph and locally heavy rainfall.

.EXCESSIVE HEAT IMPACT...
Temperatures will still be much warmer than normal today,
especially across the interior where highs will reach the low to
mid 90s. Highest peak heat index values of around 98 to 102 are
forecast across areas south of Orlando today. Remember to take
frequent breaks and stay hydrated, especially if you are spending
extended periods outside this afternoon.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A Moderate Risk of dangerous rip currents continues at all central
Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard and never
swim alone.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
Any storms that develop today will be capable of producing wind
gusts near or in excess of 35 knots as they shift eastward and
offshore, mainly near to south of Sebastian Inlet.

.FIRE WEATHER IMPACT...
Unseasonably hot temperatures, low humidity, and gusty west to
northwest winds will produce a High fire weather danger across
east central Florida today, especially across the interior.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
Fire sensitive conditions will continue on Sunday, as drier air
behind the front produces lower relative humidity values across
the interior during the afternoon.

Shower and thunderstorm chances increase into early next week with
a few stronger storms and locally heavy rainfall possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
