Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening will be capable of producing gusty to locally damaging winds as well as locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. A Heat Advisory is in effect through this evening for much of east central Georgia where heat index values in excess of 105 degrees are expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday... Scattered to numerous afternoon thunderstorms are likely Saturday and Sunday. Any storms that form will be capable of producing gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall. Isolated to widely scattered storms will remain possible for parts of the area Monday through Thursday. Heat concerns will linger through next week as maximum heat index values are expected to rise into the triple digits for many areas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
