.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

A Red Flag Warning is in effect through 8PM this evening for much
of north and central Georgia due to critical fire weather
conditions. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

A Fire Weather Watch is in effect Monday afternoon and evening
across northeast Georgia due to the potential for continued
critical fire weather conditions. Outdoor burning is strongly
discouraged.

Hazardous fire weather conditions are likely each afternoon
through Friday due to very dry antecedent conditions.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING
FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MOST OF NORTH AND
CENTRAL GEORGIA...

* Affected Area...Most of north and central Georgia.

* Timing...Noon to 8PM Sunday.

* Winds...Northwest at 10 to 18 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
  Gusts up to 40 mph are possible along the ridgelines and peaks
  in northeast Georgia.

* Relative Humidity...In the low-to-mid 20 percent range.

* Temperatures...Between 65 and 70 degrees along and north of
  Interstate 85, and between 70 to 80 degrees for areas further
  south.

* Impacts...With elevated winds and low relative humidity,
  extremely dangerous fire weather conditions are possible.
  Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This warning includes the Chattahoochee and portions of the
Oconee National Forests. A Red Flag Warning means that critical
fire weather conditions are either occurring...or will occur
within 24 hours.

Please refer to the local burn permitting authorities on whether
you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside...use extreme
caution.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of the Red Flag Warning.
