An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible through daybreak. Any storms that form will be capable of producing gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday... A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of central and east Georgia from 1 PM to 8 PM EDT on Thursday for heat index values between 105 to 108 degrees. Hot and humid conditions will persist through the weekend, with heat indices in the triple digits each day. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each afternoon through the week. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be primary storm threats. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
