At 828 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near A L T Buoy to 15 nm east of
Jacksonville Beach to 7 nm south of Palm Coast, moving east at 20
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Ensure your crew are wearing proper
life saving equipment and your vessel is prepared for heavy weather
as gusty winds and high waves are expected.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a High
Rip Current Risk, which is in effect through this evening.

* TIMING...Until 8 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents will be life threatening to anyone who
  enters the surf.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins, jetties
and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards and the beach patrol. Pay
attention to flags and posted signs.
