...BLIZZARD CONDITIONS MAY OCCUR DUE TO SIGNIFICANT BLOWING SNOW
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.Very strong winds will develop Tuesday evening with the strong wind
gusts persisting into Wednesday morning. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph
are expected. Much of the area has 6 inches or more of snow on the
ground. While there may be an initial crust on the top layer of the
snow, it will erode quickly leading to significant blowing and
drifting of snow. Near white-out and blizzard conditions may occur.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Scattered snow showers are
  possible with minor accumulations. Winds could gust as high as 60
  mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest,
  and west central Iowa.

* WHEN...From late Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel
  treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery
  road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
  visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
  morning commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
