Heat indices will reach into the mid 90s to near 100 degrees along and south of a Cedar Rapids to Muscatine to Burlington line. Additionally, showers and storms will bring a risk of heavy rain, flash flooding and isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms to areas along and north of a Fairfield to Bellevue line this evening through Wednesday morning. WPC has issued a Slight, level 2 of 4, risk for excessive rainfall and SPC has issued a Marginal/Slight, level 1/2 of 5, risk for severe storms this evening through Wednesday morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY Isolated thunderstorms are possible area-wide Wednesday morning and will move southward across the area through Wednesday afternoon. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
