.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A Freeze Warning is in effect for parts of eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois from midnight through 8 AM Saturday.
Temperatures are forecast to fall below freezing in the warning
area. Please see the warning for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Frost or freeze headlines may be needed Saturday night and again
on Sunday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s,
  coldest along and northwest of a line from Williamsburg to Dubuque.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois and east central,
  northeast, and southeast Iowa.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.
