Mixed precipitation, along with a light glaze of ice, is possible along and south of an Ottumwa, Iowa to Galesburg, Illinois line. Winter storm warnings have been issued for a small part of the area. A 20 to 25 mile wide band of 5 to 7 inches of accumulation is expected in parts of the warning area. The rough axis of the heaviest snow is from just south of Waterloo, Iowa to Milledgeville, Illinois. Outside of the warning area, winter weather advisories remain in effect for most of the area. Accumulating snow of 2 to 5 inches is expected along and north of Interstate 80. South of Interstate 80 accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected. South of a Washington, Iowa to Aledo, Illinois line, snowfall amounts will be under an inch. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY Gusty north winds on Sunday may lead to blowing and drifting snow in open and rural areas. There is a chance for snow Wednesday night into Thursday. At this time, snowfall amounts look to be light. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
