There is a chance for scattered storms late tonight, mainly after 10 PM, but confidence remains low on areal coverage. If storms impact portions of the area tonight, the primary threat would be strong winds. Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Major Flood Stage. Water affects old U.S.
Highway 61 near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain near a crest of
12.5 feet through Monday morning. It will then fall below
flood stage Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
