This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Heat and humidity today will be high for this time of year. Look
for heat indices peaking in the lower 90s for portions of the
area today. Highest values are expected in areas west of a line
from Cedar Rapids to Burlington to Macomb.

The Pecatonica and Rock Rivers are experiencing flooding. Please
see the latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

On Wednesday, peak heat indices are forecast to reach the low 90s
along and south of a line from Independence, Iowa to the Quad
Cities to Galva, Illinois. A few locations could reach the mid
90s for afternoon heat indices in the counties south of Interstate
80. This is very unusual for this time of year.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible late Wednesday night into
Thursday morning. The best chances are northwest of a line from
Galena, Illinois to Williamsburg, Iowa. The primary risks are
lightning and localized heavy rain.

Another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible Saturday
into Sunday, which could bring heavy rain to parts of the outlook
area. It is too early to determine the risk for severe weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
