* Until Wednesday morning.
* At  8:00 PM Monday the stage was 15.4 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast, Fall below flood stage Wednesday.
* Impact, At  15.0 feet, Water affects several sections of South
  Concord Street south of River Drive in Davenport and is at the
  foundations of several homes on Enchanted Island. Water also
  affects industries along the river at the south end of Davenport.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight,
mainly northwest of a Ottumwa to Freeport line. The main impacts
with these storms will be lightning and brief heavy downpours.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to be widespread south of
Interstate 80 Wednesday. Severe weather is not expected, but
locally heavy rain will be possible.

Thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall are expected again Friday night
through the weekend. While it too early to determine the threat
for severe storms, it does appear that heavy rain is possible.
This heavy rain could result in new tributary river rises.

Spotter activation is not expected today and tonight.
