This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

The Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk for severe
thunderstorms across the entire outlook area for tonight.

Thunderstorms will be likely after midnight into early Sunday
morning. Some of the storms could be severe with large hail,
damaging winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. An
isolated tornado is also possible but there is low confidence.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

On Sunday, there is a marginal risk for severe storms along and
to the southeast of a line from Freeport, Illinois to
Williamsburg, Iowa. The main threats are strong winds and
lightning. The coverage of storms should be low.

Peak heat indices on Monday and Tuesday may reach the upper 90s to
around 100 degrees in the counties south of Interstate 80.

There are chances for thunderstorms Tuesday and Tuesday night. It
is too early to determine the risk for severe weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter and amateur radio network activation may be needed after
midnight into early Sunday morning.
