This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms are possible late tonight, mainly west of the
Mississippi River. Severe weather is not expected, but locally
heavy rainfall will be possible.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Severe storms are possible across the outlook area Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday. At this time, the greatest potential for severe
storms appears to be Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has
placed the entire area under a slight risk for Tuesday, with an
enhanced risk for areas roughly west of U.S. highway 218. Severe
storms may be capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and
a few tornadoes Tuesday into Tuesday night.

There will also be a continued threat for heavy rain and flash
flooding through mid week as area soils remain saturated. Rain
will also affect flooding that will be continuing on many area
rivers.

Rain is still expected across the region over the next week so
additional chances to crest forecasts are expected.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Mississippi River at Rock Island LD15.
* Until further notice.
* At  8:00 AM Sunday the stage was 17.2 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise to 19.0 feet Friday morning, then begin falling.
* Impact, At  19.0 feet, Water affects Rock Islands Sunset Marina
  parking lot and River Drive in Moline from the 2700 to 4800 block.
  Davenports Le Claire Park is entirely underwater. Water affects
  most of River Drive from Division to Federal. Water is also at the
  base of the loading docks of the 2nd Street Post Office.

  22. Water affects Hoot Owl Jct and Elder Avenue south of Iowa
