This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) severe weather in the
northwest this afternoon and tonight, followed by a Marginal Risk
elsewhere. Damaging winds are the primary threat. Large hail as
well as a tornado or two will be possible as well. Locally heavy
rainfall possible overnight in the north.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather and
excessive rainfall on Saturday with damaging winds being the
primary severe threat. Chances for thunderstorms will persist
into early next week. The threat for severe weather will continue
to be evaluated. Heavy rain will continue to remain possible.
