This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon
and early evening, some of which could become strong to severe.
Large hail and strong wind gusts are the main threats.

There is a chance for scattered storms late tonight, mainly after
10 PM, but confidence remains low on areal coverage. If storms
impact portions of the area tonight, the primary threat would be
strong winds.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest
Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

An active weather pattern Tuesday and Wednesday will support
periods of thunderstorms that are likely to pose some severe
weather threat. Currently, Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday
night appear to be the periods with a more widespread severe
weather threat. Repeated rounds of storms Tuesday night could pose
a flash flooding threat, particularly if heavy rainfall occurs
over urban areas.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon through tonight.
