The Storm Prediction Center has an Enhance Risk for much of the area, with a Slight Risk for the far east and northeast parts of the area. Large hail, possibly over golf ball size, damaging winds, and tornadoes are all possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY Thunderstorms are possible in northwest Illinois Wednesday afternoon, with lightning the main risk.
