This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk tonight...with an associated:
     Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
     Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
  Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are likely tonight. Some storms may be
strong to severe mainly south of Interstate 80, with damaging
winds and hail the primary threats. A greater severe weather
threat will exist farther south into central Illinois and central
Indiana. Locally heavy rainfall amounts of greater than a half
inch are also possible across much of the outlook area tonight
into early Thursday.
