This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Many area rivers will remain in flood.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Monday night...
  Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
  Elevated Flooding Risk.
Tuesday...
  Limited Flooding Risk.
  Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday morning...
  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday...
  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A couple periods of thunderstorms will be possible Monday night
through Tuesday night. Some of these storms could be strong and
contain heavy rainfall capable of producing localized flash
flooding.

Temperatures and humidity levels will be on the increase later in
the week. This may result in heat indices climbing well into the
90s by Thursday and to 100 to 105 degrees Friday and Saturday.

Many area rivers will remain in flood into early next week.

* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins near river.

...The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Flood Warning
for the following rivers in Illinois...

  W Br Du Page River near Warrenville affecting Du Page County

  Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry
  Counties

.Due to the recent rainfall the W Br Du Page River near Warrenville
and the Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater will remain near flood stage
through the early afternoon and rise to Moderate flooding respectively.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and
find an alternate route.

* At  830 AM Saturday the stage was 10.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 10.5 feet by this
  afternoon until midnight. Then the river will begin to fall.
