central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Accumulating snow is likely Saturday night north of Interstate 80
with mixed precipitation to the south. A winter weather advisory
has been issued for most of the outlook area. 2 to 5 inches of
snow is possible north of Interstate 80 with 1 to 2 inches south
along with a glaze of ice.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Gusty north winds on Sunday may lead to blowing and drifting snow
in open and rural areas.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Please report snowfall amounts over one inch along with reports of
freezing rain accumulation.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO 6 AM CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Snow is expected north of Interstate 80 with mixed
  precipitation expected south of Interstate 80. Total snow
  accumulation of 1 to 3 inches along the Interstate 80 corridor to
  3 to 5 inches north of the Interstate. Isolated amounts over 5
  inches are possible along the Highway 20 corridor. A light glaze
  of ice is also possible along and south of Interstate 80.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Illinois and east central,
  northeast, and southeast Iowa.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on
  slippery travel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A clipper system will bring widespread light
  snow to the region Saturday night. A narrow band of moderate to
  heavy snow is possible but there is uncertainty on the exact
  placement. Snowfall amounts over 4 inches are possible where this
  band sets up, most favored to the northwest of the Quad Cities at
  this time.
