Additional thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon, and linger into the evening. The highest storm chances tonight will be near and north of I-72. While the severe weather threat is not high, a few of the storms may be locally severe, with damaging winds as the main concern. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Additional thunderstorms are likely Sunday through Monday night, lingering into Tuesday over east central Illinois. Although the severe weather threat is low, the numerous storms may result in localized flash flooding. Hot and humid conditions will intensify through the upcoming week. Heat index values over 100 degrees are possible as early as Tuesday west of I-55, and will be widespread Wednesday and Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
