...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Heat Index values will range from 100 to 107 degrees during this
afternoon. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible
late this afternoon and tonight. The risk of severe storms is low
through tonight, though a few thunderstorms could briefly become
strong with gusty winds and small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

Summerlike heat and humidity will continue Tuesday. Afternoon
heat indices will peak from 95 to 100 degrees.

The chance for more widespread thunderstorms will occur Tuesday
and Tuesday night as a frontal system moves south across the
area. There is a marginal risk that some of the storms could be
strong to severe, especially Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday
evening, with damaging winds and hail the primary severe weather
risk. A daily chance for thunderstorms will continue through
Friday evening. There is a chance of thunderstorms again on
Saturday night and Sunday.
