This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Light snow will will continue, becoming heavier after midnight.
Accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are likely by sunrise, with some
totals closer to 4 inches near Paris and Mattoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Snow will continue into Sunday afternoon, with additional
accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. North winds gusting up to 25 mph may
produce some blowing and drifting snow, especially on west east
oriented roadways.

Bitterly cold wind chills return Sunday night and Monday morning,
dropping to as cold as 20 below zero. Nighttime wind chills as cold
as 15 below will be common the rest of the upcoming week.

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight. However,
snowfall measurements would be greatly appreciated.

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
  10 inches, with 10 to 12 inches possible from I-70 south.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, southeast, and west
  central Illinois.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Blowing and drifting
  snow is possible Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening with north
  winds gusting 20 to 25 mph.
