This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Late This Afternoon and Tonight.

Afternoon heat indices will peak between 100 and 105 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A multi-day stretch of hot and humid weather will continue most of
the week. High temperatures in the low to mid 90s, low temperatures
in the mid 70s, and afternoon heat indices frequently above 100
degrees can be expected. The prolonged nature of the heat, and lack
of nocturnal cooling, will increase the risk for heat related illness
for those without effective cooling or hydration.

Scattered thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon hours, will
be possible from Tuesday through Saturday. The threat of severe
weather appears low at this time, with the best chance of any
stronger storms mainly north of a Macomb to Bloomington line.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
