Scattered thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this afternoon, and continue into the evening. While the severe weather threat is low, the storms may produce some heavy rain, primarily near the I-70 corridor. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. There will be daily chances for showers and thunderstorms Friday through Tuesday. Some of the storms could be strong to severe Saturday and Saturday night. Locally heavy rain will be possible at times. Heat and humidity will build back across the region starting Tuesday, and will persist into the day Wednesday and likely beyond.
