...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast
  Illinois, and west central Illinois, including the following
  areas, in central Illinois, Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon,
  Mason, Menard, Piatt, Sangamon, and Shelby. In east central
  Illinois, Champaign, Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar,
  Moultrie, and Vermilion. In southeast Illinois, Crawford,
  Effingham, and Jasper. In west central Illinois, Cass, Morgan,
  and Scott.

* Through Sunday morning

* Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening
  and tonight across the area with moderate to at times heavy
  rain. This morning 1 to locally 3 inches of rain fell across
  portions of the area resulting in saturated soil conditions.
  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected by
  Sunday morning, with locally higher amounts possible, especially
  along and south of I-72.

* Heavy rainfall may result in flooding of low lying or poor
  drainage areas, and ultimately dangerous flash flooding on
  smaller creeks and streams. Additional rises on larger streams
  and rivers will also be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued. Never drive across a
flooded road.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois, east central Illinois and southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and
evening. Damaging winds, large hail and a couple tornadoes are
possible. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall will occur at times,
with between 1 and 3 inches of rain possible by dawn Sunday which
could lead to flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

There will be periodic chances for thunderstorms Sunday through
Thursday. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms
with damaging winds Sunday afternoon into mid Sunday evening.
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches may occur
again Wednesday and Wednesday night.

Spotter activation is needed through late this evening.
