This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and east
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening. A few of these
may be strong or briefly severe, with strong winds and perhaps some
hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms are likely late Tuesday night into early Wednesday,
some of which could be severe, especially west of I-57. While
damaging winds will be the primary threat, hail and a tornado or two
are also possible, especially near the I-55 corridor. On Wednesday,
the severe chances shift to areas south of I-72.

Ahead of the storms, south winds will gust from 35 to 40 mph Tuesday
afternoon and evening, causing some difficult travel on west east
oriented roads.

Additional storms are expected Friday and Saturday, though the
severe weather threat is more uncertain during that period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Tuesday night after 9 PM.
