This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Illinois and
southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly after midnight.
The probability for severe weather is low.

Minor flooding is expected to develop along the Little Wabash River
near Clay City around midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There will be periods of thunderstorms Saturday through Tuesday.
A few of the storms on Saturday and Sunday may be strong to locally
severe. Locally heavy rain will be possible at times, especially on
Sunday.

The flooding on the Little Wabash River is expected to subside
during Saturday night, though heavy rain may push it back into flood
early next week.

Oppressive heat will build across the region starting Tuesday
afternoon, and will persist through next Friday. Heat indices are
expected to peak in the 105 to 115 degree range.
