* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and west central
  Illinois and central, east central, and northeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Wind chills are expected to be between 10 and 25 below zero
continuing through Saturday morning. A Cold Weather Advisory is in
effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Accumulating snow will occur across most of the area between early
Saturday and Sunday. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued across
much of the area, with a Winter Weather Advisory across northeast
Missouri and west-central Illinois where slightly lower snow totals
are expected.

PM CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
  12 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Illinois and
  central, east central, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The rapid accumulation of snow will make travel extremely difficult,
if not impossible. If travel is necessary, be sure to exercise
extreme caution. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food
