MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below to 25 below zero
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and
  northeast Illinois.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 10 AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

DISCUSSION...

Light accumulating snow is expected to develop late this
afternoon and continue through this evening with hazardous
travel conditions possible.

Wind chills 20 below to 25 below zero are expected across most
of northern Illinois late tonight, with wind chills 15 below
zero expected across northwest Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chills 20 below to 25 below zero are expected across most
of northern Illinois Monday morning, with wind chills 15 below
zero expected across northwest Indiana.

Another period of accumulating snow is possible Tuesday night
into Wednesday morning, especially for areas along and north of
Interstate 80.
