Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

 Elevated Frost Risk overnight.

DISCUSSION...

Locally sub-freezing temperatures are possible tonight in outlying
areas, with many locations outside of the urban corridor dropping
into the low to mid 30s. Sheltered areas will be susceptible to
frost formation.

  Des Plaines River at Lincolnshire affecting Cook and Lake IL
  Counties.

Illinois...

  Des Plaines River near Des Plaines affecting Cook County.

  Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.

  Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.

These forecasts are based almost entirely on observed precipitation
as little to no additional precipitation is currently expected over
the next 24 to 48 hours.

* WHERE...Des Plaines River from Palatine Road in Prospect Heights
  downstream to Irving Park Road in Chicago, including the Des
  Plaines gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Big Bend Road threatened in Des Plaines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 18.0
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then slowly fall through next
    week.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHERE...Des Plaines River from Townline Road in Libertyville
  downstream to Palatine Road in Prospect Heights, including the
  Lincolnshire gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Numerous structures threatened along US-45
  (Milwaukee Avenue) between IL-22 (Half Day Road) and Deerfield
  Road. Access route threatened for numerous residences near US-45
  (Milwaukee Avenue) and Deerfield Road. IL-60 (Townline Road)
  threatened near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest near 15.7
    feet (Major Flood Stage) tomorrow evening. It will then
    slowly fall through next week.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
