...Shallow Dense Fog Early This Morning...

Shallow fog has developed early this morning across portions of
the area outside of Chicago and may expand in coverage. Some fog
has become locally dense, with visibilities down to one quarter
mile or less, especially in low lying areas and near open fields.
Conditions will gradually improve after sunrise.

If traveling early this morning, be prepared for sudden
reductions in visibility over short distances. Slow down, use low
beam headlights and increase following distances in fog. Be
especially cautious in school zones.
