There is a slight chance (around 15%) of a few isolated thunderstorms over northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana this afternoon, mainly east of a Crystal Lake to Kankakee and Lafayette line. While no severe weather is expected, isolated wind gusts gusts up to 45 mph may be possible with the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Friday... Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated: Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk. Saturday and Sunday... Elevated Excessive Heat Risk. Monday... Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
