...SNOW SHOWERS AND GUSTY WINDS OVERNIGHT...

Lake effect snow showers will increase across the area this
evening, with occasional moderate snowfall rates through midnight.
Total snow accumulations will range from 1-2 inches north of a
line from Battle Ground towards Muncie and Winchester, (including
far northern portions of the Indianapolis Metro Area) to between
2-4 inches over portions of Carroll and Howard counties.

In addition, wind gusts from 30-35 mph will cause localized areas
of blowing snow. Winds are expected to diminish to under 30 mph
by midnight.

If traveling overnight, be alert for rapidly changing conditions
in short distances. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your
destination. Do not crowd snowplows.

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Through Tonight.

Lake effect snow showers, some moderate in intensity will increase
this evening before diminishing after midnight. Total snowfall from 1
to 4 inches are possible with the highest amounts expected in far
northern portions of the area.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph will gradually diminish overnight. Wind
chills as low as -5 degrees are possible by sunrise.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Wind chills as low as -5 degrees will be possible through mid-
morning Thursday.

There are chances for light snow Thursday night through Saturday
Night. Minor accumulations are once again possible.

Sub-zero wind chills as low as -10 degrees possible Sunday night
into Tuesday
