...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM FRIDAY TO 10 AM
EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and west
  central Indiana.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Friday to 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
  Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
  exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Through Tonight.

A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from late tonight through
Saturday morning with wind chills as low as -15 to -21F.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for all of Central Indiana on
Saturday and Sunday. Snow is expected late Saturday into Sunday as a
winter storm passes to the south. Exact details remain uncertain, but
confidence is increasing in the potential for significant snowfall
accumulations and travel impacts, especially near or south of I-70.

Very cold weather will be expected through next week with potentially
dangerous wind chills at times.
