This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A period of light snow this evening may produce very light
accumulations of up to one half inch.

A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect late tonight. Wind chill values
will fall to -5 to -10F late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Wind chills as low as negative 15 degrees are possible early Monday
morning and -10 degrees early Tuesday morning.

There are chances for more snowfall on Wednesday and again on Friday
through Sunday.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 11 AM EST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 11 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Greene, Knox, and Sullivan Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 11 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could
  result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Very cold
  temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

...LIGHT SNOW THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT...

A 3 to 4 hour period of light snow is expected this evening into
the early overnight with scattered flurries lingering through the
remainder of the night. Light accumulations less than an inch are
possible focused especially across the northern half of central
Indiana. Untreated roads will become slick and snow covered.
Increasing winds and bitterly cold temperatures late tonight into
Monday morning will support blowing snow, especially in rural
areas.

Challenging travel conditions are possible this evening through
Monday morning. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach
your destination.
