Refer to the statement for more details. Strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds is the main concern; however, localized flash flooding and a brief tornado or two are also possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A few strong to severe storms will be possible Thursday, with damaging winds as the main severe weather threat. Heat index values will remain elevated, in the 105-110 degree range for Friday through Sunday. Headlines will likely need to be extended or upgraded over the weekend.
