Lake effect snow showers will continue across favored northwest flow lake effect areas in northern Indiana and southwest Lower Michigan through this evening. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation is possible, with a locally higher amount possible. By late evening the focus for lake effect snow showers will begin to shift westward across northwest Indiana, with lake effect snow showers expected to dissipate overnight. Motorists should be prepared for slick and snow covered roads and variable road conditions across the region. The best chance for impacts will continue to be be along and north of the Toll Road. $$
