This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Temperatures near sunrise Wednesday morning across far eastern
Colorado will be in the middle 30s to around 40 degrees. Patchy frost
is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

Scattered thunderstorms will develop Thursday afternoon and
evening east of Highway 25 along a dry line. While severe storms are
not currently expected, stronger storms may produce small hail.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible west
of Highway 25 Thursday afternoon due to low humidity and southwest
winds gusting up to 25 mph.

A cold front Thursday night could be accompanied by northwest winds
gusting up to 40 to 50 mph at times.

For the holiday weekend, there will be a chance for storms both
Saturday and Sunday, with severe storms possible.
