This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few thunderstorms will be possible across parts of central and
southeast Kansas today. Severe weather is not expected however a
few storms could produce small hail this afternoon.

Rivers and creeks remain high and may approach flood stage. Some
minor lowland flooding will also continue across southern Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Afternoon heat indices around 100 degrees will be possible on

Thunderstorm chances return for the late afternoon and evening
hours of Thursday and Friday, mainly for central and eastern Kansas.
If storms can develop severe weather is a possibility.

Meanwhile, much better chances of thunderstorms look to affect the
region for this weekend. Severe weather and flooding will be
possible. Stay tuned for additional updates on the upcoming weekend
