Very high to extreme grassland fire danger will impact locations west of I-135 Thursday afternoon, highest over central and north- central Kansas. Another vigorous storm system will arrive on Friday bringing the potential for another round of strong to severe thunderstorms for much of the area Friday afternoon and evening. Very high grassland fire danger may return for Friday and again early next week across central Kansas.
